COVID-19 Precautions

At the present time Alvin is still seeing clients face-to-face in office, in addition to offering any client the ability to be seen virtually (online) through a HIPAA-secure virtual platform.  Please take heed to the following temporary precautions we are taking to ensure our safety and well-being and to protect the safety and well-being of the community at large.

Thank you for patience and consideration.

  • If you are sick or have any COVID-19 symptoms, for everyone’s sake STAY HOME!

  • COVID-19 SymptomsFever, Cough, or Shortness of Breath.  If you are experiencing any of these, please do not enter the office and return home and contact your medical provider immediately.

  • We will adhere to the CDC guidelines of maintaining a distance of at least 6 feet from each individual.

  • To minimize risk of exposure only individuals who have a scheduled appointment and their one (1) respective parent/guardian will be allowed to wait in the lobby/waiting room.  Any additional individuals are asked to wait in their vehicles during the scheduled appointment time.

  • All scheduled appointments will last 45-50 minutes; please do not enter the office until your scheduled appointment time to minimize spread of infection and to maintain minimal distance of 6 feet from each individual.

  • You may notice small changes in how we interact with you such as wearing gloves if we are to receive currency, checks, and/or debit/credit cards from you.

  • Hand sanitizer is available in every room and hand soap is available in the restroom.  The CDC advises every individual to wash their hands for at least 20 seconds.  Surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, etc. are wiped down multiple times throughout the day, in addition to Lysol or other disinfectant sprayed on various surfaces.

  • Please notify Alvin via voicemail (731.868.7297) or via email (alvin@rohcs.org) if you would like to be seen virtually (online) during this time and avoid coming into the office.  There is a consent form you will need to sign, and you will then receive instructions to begin using the online therapy platform.  If you have an outstanding bill, co-pay, or deductible you can pay that online through the ROHCS website (www.rohcs.org/payments.html).
