Matt is only seeing clients virtual (via telehealth) for individuals who are located in the state of Tennessee.
Matt has completed the requirements and has passed mandatory licensing tests to to earn a temporary license as a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist. He received his Master of Arts degree with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy through the University of Massachusetts Global (UMass Global, formally Brandman University). He is also a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists as well as the Tennessee Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
He is a father and husband, and ever since he was young, he has had a strong passion for psychology and helping others. With a very diverse background from public service, construction, administrative work and over 10 years of active duty military service he has had the privilege to experience and learn about many different industries and gain a multitude of skill sets. After traveling to nine different countries and over half the states in the United States Matt was able to gain exposure to numerous cultures and norms.
Matt believes that we are all traveling a continuing personal journey in life and the self growth, healing, and awareness are essential to everyone's wellbeing. He works with individuals, couples, and families. With direct and indirect experiences, his treatment specialties are in trauma, relational work, suicide prevention, and military/veteran personnel.
